Paykasa Vouchers and these terms & conditions are issued by trading as Paykasa a company incorporated in the Republic of Cyprus under company number HE339280, with its registered office located at: JoC Business Center, 124 Archbishop Makarios III, 7550, Kiti, Larnaca, Cyprus.

You must be at least 18 years old and live in a country where buying and using a Paykasa Voucher is not in violation any law or regulation. By purchasing a Paykasa Voucher, you confirm your are eligible to buy and use a Paykasa Voucher, and you accept liability for any consequences of arising from that not being true.

Terms and Conditions of Use


  • A Paykasa voucher code is valid for 12 months from the date you receive it from Paykasa or a Business Partner (the “Issue Date”).
  • The date you must use your Paykasa voucher code by is called the “Use by Date” and is shown on your voucher. If you do not use your Paykasa voucher code on or before this date your agreement will terminate and you will no longer be able to use your code.
  • After the Use By Date a monthly charge of €4 per month will apply and will be deducted from the balance of your Paykasa voucher. Your refund may also be subject to a redemption fee of €10.


Redemption and Termination

  • Under these Terms and Conditions, you have the right to terminate at any time during the contract period and you can also ask for redemption of the balance left on your Paykasa Voucher. If you have purchased a Paykasa Voucher by means of distance communications (e.g. online), you have a right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days after the purchase without being charged any fees.
  • If you terminate a Paykasa Voucher we will block it the next working day (Monday to Friday) so it cannot be used. You will not be entitled to redemption of money that you have already spent on goods or services.
  • If you terminate a Paykasa Voucher, we will arrange for any unused funds to be redeemed to you, once all applicable fees have been deducted.
  • You will need to provide 2 proofs of name, and address for us to process any redemption from a Paykasa voucher back to cash or bank deposit. If you would rather be issued with a new Paykasa Voucher instead please contact Paykasa customer service, who, subject to you having complied with the terms of this Agreement in every respect, will issue you a new Paykasa Voucher.



  • You may use a Paykasa Voucher to make purchases online anywhere you see the Paykasa logo.
  • When using a Paykasa Voucher on a website, you will be required to type in the PIN which is on the Paykasa Voucher.
  • Depending on the merchant’s preference, when you use a Paykasa Voucher, you will either, a) be asked to pay the full value of the Paykasa Voucher, or b) the amount of your purchase will be deducted from the balance on the Paykasa Voucher. In which case, if your purchase totals less than the value of the Paykasa Voucher, any balance will be left as credit for you on the Paykasa Voucher to spend in future.
  • A Paykasa Voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • A Paykasa Voucher is like cash. Lost or stolen Paykasa Vouchers cannot be replaced.
  • Any refund for the purchase of goods or services with a Paykasa Voucher will be on a replacement Paykasa Voucher.
  • Paykasa reserves the right to amend these terms & conditions from time to time where we consider it reasonable and necessary to do so.
  • Paykasa reserves the right to restrict access to, suspend and temporarily or permanently cancel Paykasa Vouchers for any reasonable reason.
  • It is prohibited to sell, trade in, or purchase, Paykasa Vouchers via unauthorised internet platforms. This prohibition explicitly refers to so-called “exchange platforms”, where Paykasa Vouchers are offered for sale illegally. A purchase of a Paykasa Voucher over the Internet is allowed exclusively through online web shops authorised by us.
  • You may not hold in excess of 900GBP in the United Kingdom (250EUR or the equivalent of 250EUR in another currency outside of the United Kingdom unless otherwise restricted to a lower amount) of Paykasa Vouchers at any time. Failure to adhere to this would constitute a breach of these terms and conditions and will give rise to suspicion of fraudulent and/or criminal activity as a result of which Paykasa reserves the right not to redeem and/or refund the Paykasa Voucher.


Disputes with retailers

  • If you have any disputes about purchases you have made with your Paykasa Voucher, you should settle these with the Retailer. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or any other aspect of any goods or services purchased with a Paykasa Voucher.
  • Remember that once you have used a Paykasa Voucher to make a purchase we cannot stop that transaction.



  • The Paykasa Voucher is issued in Euros (€). Any payments made for goods/services in another currency shall be converted into Euros (€) using the exchange rate applicable on the date of transaction. Our applicable exchange rates will be posted daily on the Website ( The exchange rate used and the amount that will be debited from the Paykasa Voucher will also be shown at the time of the transaction.
  • For every cross currency transaction where one of the involved currencies is EUR a general exchange rate surcharge of 3 % of the transaction amount will be applied. However for cross currency transactions where EUR is not involved in the transaction an exchange rate surcharge of 4.5 % of the transaction amount will apply.


Suspension of service

  • Paykasa gives no warranty or representation that its Paykasa payment scheme will be available at all times. And specifically reserves the right to suspend its system when it considers necessary for maintenance or upgrade to the systems. Paykasa will use reasonable endeavours to minimise any periods during which the system is unavailable and where possible will post notice on its website of such suspension.
  • The Financial Services Compensation Scheme is not applicable to Paykasa voucher codes. No other compensation schemes exist to cover losses claimed in connection with a Paykasa voucher code.



  • By acquiring a Paykasa voucher code, you give your consent that Paykasa has the right to perform such CDD (Customer Due Diligence) checks deemed necessary to comply with Anti Money Laundering regulations, or if Paykasa, in its sole opinion, suspect fraudulent use and/or misuse of the payment scheme. You further undertake to co-operate fully to ensure the CDD information required is provided to Paykasa within the time parameters to be specified by Paykasa. Any personal data provided in connection with the KYC process will be held by Paykasa in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and protected as specified in clause 18 below (Privacy of Your Data).
  • When you apply to register with Paykasa, we make a number of checks to verify your identity to prevent and detect crime and money laundering. These checks are done using 3rd party agencies and may include supplying your information to Credit Reference Agencies for the purpose of identifying you. The agencies will record details of such searches. The searches will not be seen or used by lenders to assess your ability to obtain credit.


Information about you

  • For the purpose of the Data Protection Act (1998), the Data Controller will be the Paykasa.
  • Information relating to you (henceforth ” Information”) may be held on a database and used by us for the purposes set out in this clause. Information includes any information which we hold, now or at any time in the future and which comes from, or relates to: i) Purchase and use of the Paykasa Vouchers; ii) Third parties, such as credit reference agencies and parties associated with the us; iii) Payments made by the you through the Paykasa service, including the name of the supplier and the general nature of the goods and services paid for; iv) Verification of your identity, residence or authorisation to use third-party payment services to transfer funds to a Paykasa Voucher.
  • We may use, analyse and assess the Information to maintain and develop a commercial relationship with you. This will include the following purposes: i) Operating and administering the services we supply; ii) Financial risk assessment, money laundering checks, compliance and regulatory reporting and fraud prevention; iii) Identifying products and services which may interest you; and iv) Understanding existing business and developing new and innovative products and services.
  • We will not disclose Information to third parties except: i) Where your consent is obtained; ii) Where we are required or permitted to do so by law; iii) To any persons, who provide a service to us and who have agreed to keep the Information strictly confidential; iv) To any persons who supply benefits or services to us under; or v) To identity verification, money laundering and fraud prevention agencies.



  • This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cyprus.
  • Paykasa reserves the right to assign, subcontract, novate or transfer its obligations hereunder to any third party (a “third party transferee”) without your consent provided that we will only assign or transfer such obligations if, in our reasonable opinion:
  • Nothing in this Agreement is intended to create any rights which are enforceable by any person who is not a party to this Agreement under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999, unless otherwise stated.



  • If you are unhappy in any way with Paykasa or the way our service is managed, tell us by e-mailing so we can investigate the circumstances for you. Any complaints you make will be dealt with quickly and fairly.
